this is old news and will only work for the touch GSM versions. so if you have the cdma version through sprint DO NOT use this otherwise it can do some serious damage to your phone that may be irreversable!!!

You just referring to the 4D cube part right? I was only interested in figuring out how to create my own icons anyways. I used the method there to create the BRNs and it works. I just have to do some color matching for the background of the icons.

Seems there is an issue. When placed on the cube the icons are showing up blurred or with lines. The .exe file used to convert them from XDA I guess is not good for the Sprint Touch. This is something you kind of mentioned already. The question now is for a detailed explanation as to how to edit the bmp file with a hex editor instead of using the .exe file. Anyone know where the detailed explanation is? I did see one on XDA but at the time I saw it I was not looking for that info and now cannot find it. (Don't you hate when that happens?)

it should work...make sure you have the right brn sizes for the touch...
App Launcher brn sizes are w 119 x h 105
Media Hub brns are w 240 x h 105
Media Hub Playing brns are w 240 x h 74

Checked again and yeah it is the right size. Don't get why it is blurred. In my graphic design experience I saw stuff like that when say a 72dpi image is placed on a project of a higher dpi. Not sure if the same would apply now.

I'm noticing a difference in the file sizes too. The utility creates 24.3kb brn's yet all the ones on my touch are 24.6kb. I'm thinking the change to the header is slightly different on Sprint's Touch or am I over analyzing it?
