HELP BIG TIME: Lost Internet Connection

I have been downloading a few programs from Dash for the HTC Touch and somehow my phone is not able to connect to the internet anymore.

When I click "Connectivity" it says:

Connecting to: Phone as Modem
Dialing from: Mobile
Using: Cellular Line

Dialing #777

But it never connects and now says "The remote party has ended this connection."

It was working fine today. I even installed a number of programs and did a few soft resets, but now it won't connect at all. I have tried doing a soft reset three times now and no change. I tried deleting the last program I installed (Ultimate Search), but nothing has changed.

Can someone PLEASE HELP ASAP!!

you sure in the area that you are in you have good service with the barss and are you in evdo right now cause you will need that for the net to be able to connect for the first time. if that doesnt work sounds like you are having a problem with apps conflicting which does happen from time to time especially if you are using and version or amke of slide2unlock. so i would try to get into good service area try again and if all else fails do a hard reset. but i warn you that a hard reset brings the phone back to the new state as when it came from the box. so back up all your important info such as contacts.

I just did a hard reset. I am not sure what program it was that caused the interference.

I guess I will start from ground zero and build up.

no problem sorry couldnt help you further. just try to remember when it started and install one by one so you can find the culprit do you know for the future. and when/if you find it please share

I have downloaded everything again (2 hours later) and all is working well.

This time I downloaded and instaleld everything at once (sent everything to my phone and installed the CAB files) and then did 1 soft reset for everything.

This has seemed to work well.

good process to take. i hunted down all the proggies i use almost 50 of them and got cabs for them all. so all i have to do is go into a folder on my storage card and install all the cabs which i have placed in the folder. of there is a serial number for the program i have a word document with the serial on that saved on that too. so this makes a quick install of round 45 minutes for everything to be back on the phone!!!! and all my contacts and emails are done through mail2web and automatically put back in for me when i get mail2web set up again. this si the best way to go if you ask me and have got others into the habbit and they now wont do it any other way since this is such a time saver.

Can someone tell me how to actually use the Search option on this website?

I am trying to find the CAB file for HTC Audio Manager, but each time I search for it I am told that my search is under 4 words. My search is actually 6 words!

I also need a CAB for Sprint TV. When I try opening Sprint TV, it just pauses at the main screen and never loads.

I would search for these cab files myself, but I keep getting the 4-word special!

you need a certain numberr of letter per a word being 4 you need to use a * ad a wildcard if you are under for letters. look in the help desk the sprint tv has been zapped for the mogul and soem people are facing trouble with the cab for the touch. but look in the sticky area under sprint touch upgrades and the cab will be in there.
