hello all...i currently purchased mring so that I can create ringtones unique to each contact...i dont know if it even appropriate to askquestions about this application on this site but I figured id give it a shot....so heres my problem..i applied a ringtone for my text messages and it plays the sound fine< but i cannot get it to vibrate and i set it to vibrate as well as play the tone....even when I put it on silent it still doesnt vibrate...at first i thought it was my phone that was messed up but it vibrates fine when i recieve a phone call...i even tried it on a phone at the verizon store and got the same results as on my phone...what makes this even more irritating is that the program works fine on my friends 6800, but hes got the sprint mogul....if anyone could help me out that would be great cuz i cant figure it out for the life of me...thanks in advance

prolly summtin that verizon has put into the rom telling it not to allow the vibrate and all to happen at the same time. and just a fyi silent mode is no vibrate and no sound so you wouldnt get nothing from that.

I understand what your saying about the rom from verizon, this is where it gets tricky. If i delete mring off my phone and use the stock ringtone application it will vibrate and ring when i get a text message or a phone call, but when i use mring it only vibrates and ring for the phone call...confusing huh???

I understand what youre saying about the rom from verizon but get this...when i delete mring and use the stock rom it allows me to get sound and vibration at the same time for both phone calls and texts. but when i use mring i can get vibration and/or sound for phone calls but only sound for texts...even if i put the texts alert on vibrate only it doesnt do anything at all (of course no sound, but no vibration either...

prolly a hiccup on the program that if you tell them about hey will see if they can get it fixed. i would suggest that you email them and tell them the problems that you are having with the program.
