I looked through all 7 pages over PPC6800 Questions but didn't see anything on this topic.
Before I perform this mod:
Sprint Mogul ROM Update 3.16.651.0! (GPS & Rev. A)
https://www.wckediden.com/showthread.php?p=200384
Dash recommended you back up all your personal data, ie pictures, contacts, etc...
I'm not so much concered with pics and all that, thats the easy stuff to locate and back up, my question is mainly on backing up my contacts.
Is there a specific file on the phones harddrive that I can back up that will save all my contacts?
I was fooling around with SPB Backup and didn't see a way to back up contacts specifically.
If worse comes to it, I still have my old phone will all my contacts but I'm not too hot on sending them all one by one again then re-editing some things on the PPC6800.
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

i use mail2web and it auto backups all the contacts. also you can do it through acivesync. you can find the tutorial on how to set up mail2web all you have to search for is free direct push and you wil find.
my active sync does it for me...but i also keep a full spb backup before i update any rom...so if i have issue i can reflash old rom then restore instantly.....

Yeah but spb doesn't have a contacts listing to back up?
I'm not too hot on using a server to back up my contacts. And I was looking around in active sync but there was no option to back up contacts, I was looking through their help and didn't find anything relevant to backing up just contacts specifically. My main thing here is to just back up my contacts, everything else is pie.
active sync does if you have office and outlook installed on your pc....i posted office 2007 on this site as well.....which contains it...

Hey guys I found a program that will back up just contacts and much more! its free, I've tested it (with contacts only) it works great! I attempted to post it in the apps section but I don't have permission, so maybe you can post it up.
It's called PIM back up 2.8
http://www.dotfred.net/default.htm
It's an exe, I put it on my storage card, then run it from file explorer or resco whichever you use, then the utility launches.
There are also other cool programs on this site.
