Description:
S2U2 is a simple lock/unlock application which has the iPhone style slide unlocking. It can be used as a screensaver while you don't use your device.

S2U2 is the new version of Slide2Unlock because the old one is a RAM hunger and running it at Landscape mode caused a lot of troubles. So the author started to rewrite the whole thing in C++... and, here it is the new born baby - S2U2. As a new start, this is the most basic version, i.e. it does not have the Caller ID, unread xxx notifications, etc...

Installation:

* If you have Slide2Unlock installed, please uninstall it first & then soft-reset.
* After installation, there are 3 shortcuts created under \Program Files\S2U2:
o iLock2.lnk: start/stop ilock2.exe (on the 1st run, it runs silently in the background; on the 2nd run, it closes iLock2 & S2U2).
o s2u2.lnk: manually start S2U2 (be sure iLock2 is running in the background, otherwise the Battery status will not be updated).
o s2u2 Settings.lnk - change the settings of S2U2.
* A shortcut for iLock2.exe is created automatically under "\Windows\StartUp" as well.
* Installation on Storage Card is not supported (for the sake of stability).
* For hi-res devices, d/l the S2U2ClockPack.rar & follow the steps in the ClockReadme.txt. Otherwise the clock will be shown as half-sized.
* For additional clock fonts, d/l the S2U2ClockPack.rar & follow the steps in the ClockReadme.txt.

For non-English devices, download the S2U2LanguagePack.rar (Afrikaans, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Macedonian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese BR, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish & Turkish) Most of them are still not completed yet. Read the LangReadme.txt for the changes. Please let me know if you can complete them.

Update Description:
v0.99p (20-02-2008):
- Added support to S2P (Slide2Play) - does not suspend the system when S2P is running.
- Fixed a possible system hang up when an incoming call arrives after the device has been sleept for a long while.
- Some minor bugs fixed.

C++? what was it originally written in? C#? C# i would think would be better for something like this...damn developers trying to make the lives harder by coding in outdated languages... .NET framework ftw.

makes me wonder if the developer ever updates his description...cause it says no caller id...thats bull cause i use s2u2 99c daily...It always shows caller id and text alerts as well..

i think i found a bug in this program? ive been running this program for about a week now with little to no problems cept now when somone calls i cant slide to answer, i get the orginal caller disply and it blocks me from sliding it to answer when i do a soft reset i can slide to answer for abit than the orginal answering pops back up? anyone having the same problem? should i go with slide2unlock pro instead?

all slide2unlocks are still buggy in some way thats why i myself dont use them.
