as already said in he original thread for this rom you MUST go outside and give it at least 10 minutes to connect for the first connection and most people wont be able to get satellites inside there house even after first connect...... i only do when on the can......

I had the rev-a for about 24 hours now. I went outside and it still didn't work. I'll try it again though. My girl has Sprint Nav and hers works just perfectly in the house....but maybe I'm doing something wrong. I'm not really technologically advanced anyway...lol

do a soft rest the go to start/settings/personal/phone/ then click sevices tab, the scroll to internet the click get settings. Wait for ther service to finish. the make sure you can access web. the launch navigation. that should fix it

ya know i know ya don't wanna hear it but i think it has something to do with build date....I did a mogul last week for a friend same thing...had exact same software as mine...next to each other i launched...hes never connected....

i think the way that it works is if under the bottom of the screen it says pocket pc than it will not work but sprint is willing to swap these out for one without it.

does that refer to an older version of the mogul?

yup the original moguls had that wrote on them under the screen on the metal area and when the second batch came out they changed that to not being there.... my original mogul that i got before release date by a couple months had that on there along with the original shipment of them.

Dash I had the same problem as they having when I first did mine, I spent two days tryin to get the gps to work but finally after pulling my hair and reading threw about 10 different forums I got it....Dont flame I copied from somwhere else but it worked for me

1) go to start/settings/personal/phone/services..while in there pick location settings and click get settings, click on turn off and then ok out of everything, then go back into that and turn it on and x out of everything.
2)then start/settings/system/external gps.. programs should be on com 4, then click on hardware tab on the bottom and gps hardware port should be set to none and change baud rate to 9600 they say you should get a faster satellite lock wit it set on 9600, then click on access tab and make sure its checked in, x out all that and open google maps and turn on the gps like how u would normally,
3) stay outside give it about 10-20minutes and you should get a lock. the internal gps reciever needs a prime to activate it and this is the best way to do it.If it doesnt work try re installing the rom....
