Hey all,

I am looking for a program for my Mogul that will really break down in detail what is eating up my memory - not storage memory, but program memory (like plug-ins and such). I have no "active" programs running (so nothing shows in the task manager) and not a whole lot of free memory and would really love to know the biggest culprits.

Thanks in advance,
-Kyle

well theres no way to check out certain areas like that and the biggest culprit is the cube. i have over 30 apps onstalled and no cube and after rest i still hover around 20 megs after reset. so if you have the cube that will do her. also you could go with perastats and see how much each program takes after you open and close... be sure that you close out of the apps when your done by using a task manager because when you click the X it just minimizes in the background and doesnt really close the app...... i use quick menu but there are many others out there that work fine...

Well, I had the cube, but I dropped that a while back. Would it help for me to post what I do have?

I was thinking along the lines of the "running processes" tab on Windows (PC) task manager. They don't have anything like that for PPC?

Well, I have quick menu (and love it) which shows active programs that are running, but doesn't really give me any info about programs or plugins running in the background.

I think I found the biggest culprit though - Microsoft Voice Command.

Is there another program like it out there that consumes less resources and is more reliable?
