This is the thread for nueROM 2.0, based on WM 6.1 OFFICIAL release.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. FLASHING THIS ROM MAY/WILL RUIN YOUR DEVICE.

I updated to the latest official release of WM6.1 from the leaked Kaiser roms. XIP has been ported too, seems like it had some new memory management features too. Enjoy, and let me know if you encounter problems. As a quick test of speed, try going to file explorer and opening the windows directory.

be advised this rom freezes when searching for blue tooth...no2chem is working to fix issues as well as correct previous issues i have reported...new release will be up by 10 pm pacific time..

version 53 is out....which fixes this..plus removed that nasty dialer from 51 and 52...but for some reason the ftp is currently down.....I'll keep checking to get my hands on it and repack it with the ruu....Its 12 eastern...I have a business meeting to attend from 2pm till around 5pm..If anyone can get it by then though it up...if not ill obtain it as soon as i am back and ftp is accessible...Kinda wanna try it my self..now all the dumb stuff is gone....

no problem and yeah he is a beast at making these and people please donate even a little to the man if you can because he does great work and if we want to continue to see the updates we will have to help as a ppc community through all forums.... i donated since i used and loved this for a good time........ now im on the official sprint gps rom and love it and for the time being will be sticking with it unless no2chem comes out with something that i cant help but to flash too. ( which will prolly happen too at the rate that he is going.)

just like I said NU2 is a monster with these updates, again its tempting me to install this rom over the stock rom. Hows the battery performance and memory leak?

you don't have to tell me about no2chem..I've been using his roms since hes first one...lol
memory is fine 22 after install....after all my programs are installed im sitting around 18mb..better then sprints new rom..

I can tell you love his roms bro lol, but u say better then sprints new rom...hmmm its hard to believe, how about giving us some pros n cons vs sprints pros n cons

I am running build 5048, do I have to upgrade to the new sprint rom to get the new radio or can i simply load the 5055 build in to my ruu and flash to the 5055 with no problems? does the GPS still work with 5055?

easiest way yes. relock the phone, flash to the stock rom to get the radio and than flash to 5055.

already been discussed kaos loves it and says it is very stable and quick but i am gonna wait for a few new releases before i give it a shot again. unless i get antsy tonight

lol thats my problem too, I get antsy b.c I honestly dont like vito sms chat or some of the other stuff that I have to put on the stock rom that nu2 has already.

i dont mind it and all but the only thing that i dont like is that through viro i cant look at the picture mail that i receive. i cant even copy and paste... so i have to copy letter for letter into my lappy and than see what it is.

Hi,

I am trying to install the nueROM v2.0 build 5055 over the latest ROM from Sprint. I put the .nbh file into the directory and when I run the "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" it runs fine and finds the "NoChem ROM", I hit update then it causes the phone to restart like it should and both the phone and the utiility start at 0% and the bar never moves and eventually the program times out and the phone stays at 0% and I have to remove the battery and put it back in and the phone is back to normal. I have tried 2 different PC's and it doesn't change. I can re-upgrade from the latest Sprint to the same shipping ROM without any trouble.... but I want to try WM6.1, any help would be appreciated.

sprint roms you must relock and have a locked phone....

Thanks, I found the hardspl and tried that, it kept rebooting after I installed the WM 6.1 so I thought I would start fresh and reinstall the newest sprint ROM again for some reason it would only get to 11% and then crash so I did a reset. Now I get a "no radio" message at the bottom. Is there any way to get beyond this so I can try to reflash the original ROM again???

Please tell me I haven't toasted it.

the reason it keeps rebooting is that you dont have a radio for the phone to boot up so its restarts to trty to find the radio... you need to manually place the phone in bootloader by pressing and holding the camera and power button while soft resetting the phone. only problem is i cant get to the radio since the only site that still has it is havign trouble currently with the radio. so hopefully kaos or someone has it and can post it up.

Ok Got the locker and unlocker - Check :)
Got the Shipping ROM loaded - Check :)
Got the new WM6.1 (5055) Rom loaded - Check :)

Titan boots up fine and no crashing, one last thing the Internet seems to
be messed up, Cant use Sprint Nav it just says "Verifying Account" then
says login failed. Also the browser doesn't pull anything up just says
web page not found on everything. So I think I'm 90% there...

Any ideas?

lol no problem yup i know what you mean since i started with my first ppc not even a month over a year ago.... so i still remember my noob days. and at that time when i met elboriyorker i was asking him questions on how to use a forum also cause i couldn't find the new thread button lol. thank god he didnt ban me.
