just for the heck of it was did you turn off old cell when you activated new one?I've read where that has cause a poor signal issue before as well as echoes...

that is what caused problems with my fusic... what you need to do to fix this, is go to the sprint store, and tell them what is going on with the phone. Turn off your old phone before you do this, and if they swap the phones out, make sure that the old touch is turned off. There may be a problem with your touch, I had a similar problem, no signal, echoes, and little data coverage. (Sprint swapped me out for a mogul) Your other alternative is to call sprint, and tell them what happened. They will probably reprogram the phone. If you have updated the firmware to 6.1, you may want to downgrade it back to a stock rom. Make sure you save your contacts in outlook express with active sync before you go into the store and do this. Sprint stores are obligated to do swap-outs within 30 days of purchase, so that should give you plenty of time to get this issue taken care of.
