I have a new Alltel 6800 and I can't seem to change the ringer volume. I would also like the add ringer profiles. I had them on my Q and it was great at night I would not be bothered every hour or so with emails I just had the ringer on low. Please point me to the right app.

As for the ringer volume is concerned please click the sound icon in the top bar of your phone to adjust sound settings. If this help please click the thanks button!

if the volume is all the way up on the phone there is no known way to make it louder that i have found at least to work flawlessly..... and ringer profiles what do you mean by this???? do you mean assigning a ring tone to each person? if so go to that persons name in the contacts list and than go to add ring tone and you will be golden. if not tell us and we can help ya

On my Q I set up a couple of profiles. One was called normal, I had the ringer volume high and message notifications loud also. I had another for night since I keep my phone on my nite stand I had the ringer volume on low and the message notifications off so I would not hear emails all hours of the night. You could make others for work or meetings and you could even make them switch automatically deponding on you schedule and calendar.

oh ok profiles i forget the name of the application but if you search google you will find a whole bunch and than search the site for the one that you want and you will almost always find... if not just make a request in the request area and i will see what i can do for you.

I tried to do a search here for "photo contacts pro", with and without quotes, with and without spaces, but the search didn't return appropriate results. The program you're looking for will do what you want (profiles, etc.) and a lot more. Vendor info here:

Smartphone info:
http://www.pocketx.net/products/photocontactspro_sm/index.html
PPC version info:
http://www.pocketx.net/products/photocontactspro_ppc/index.html

Note that this is much more than just displaying photos for your contacts, which after looking at its features seems like a minor add-on. Take a look at its features and then decide: http://www.pocketx.net/products/photocontactspro_ppc/index.html#WalkThrough

Not too sure bout that one... if you raise the volume all the way up under the setting for sound.... that is the loudest its gonna get... that maybe a program that allows you control the volume settings just like the original one program... but thats not gonna raise the sound that comes out of the phone!
