I just got my protective cover for my HTC touch, from good ole' HongKong, off eBay. The description stated protective cover case for HTC touch p3450 and i tried putting it on and it doesn't even fit lol. Just thought i let you guys know so you don't make the same mistake, i actually broke the cover trying to make it fit, for a split second i thought my phone gained weight! lol or maybe HTC from china are smaller!

the sprint version aka the vogue is a lil bigger than the gsm version which takkes the sim card and if you look the silicone cases are also different on the camera slighty. so make sure that you get the right sized one for it that says cdma or vogue is applicable.

Makes sense, mines a CDMA and that probably is the reason, thanks for the heads up dash!

sure they are guarnteed for life but they are really thick and make it so you have to apply wayyyy more pressure to the screen to get it to react.

o i never thought of the touch screen part, but otherwise it should be good for everything but the screen

right but the thing is that you ahve to increase the stylus and finger pressure which leads to pressure spots on the screen of your phone.... basically pressure spots are just darkav areas on the screen like you would see on an old school calculator screen when too much pressure is applied to an area.

HTC Touch uses pressure or resistive detection while the iphone uses electrical or Capacitive touch.

resistive screens, the pressure from your finger causes conductive and resistive layers of circuitry to touch each other, changing the circuits' resistance.

Capacitive touch-screens use a layer of capacitive material to hold an electrical charge; touching the screen changes the amount of charge at a specific point of contact.-

just looked it up... http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/iphone1.htm

btw i had invisible shield on my phone for a few months and it was great... and then parts started to come unstuck... then dirt got under the unstuck parts making it look ugly... people would ask if i dropped it or scratched it... so i just took it off, now i have a naked htc touch... and the invisible shield left gunk all over it (took me a while to pick and scrub it all off).

so now i'm looking to get one of those silicone skins for the phone, easy on, easy off!:brows:

anyone have good suggestions on where to get my silicone case for the htc touch CDMA?

i was looking at ebay but there is about 100 different places to get it from and they all look different. thought i would ask for feedback from my fellow Touch users.

i never saw one silicone case that would work correctly and look nice on the touch....... they were all made for the gsm for the most part, so you have to be careful in that matter since the camera area of the phone is different.
