[SOLVED] Earphone jack not working?

anybody come across this issue? Just stopped working this morning....plugged in audio adapter.....sounds still coming from the phone speaker....plugged in my earphones....sounds still coming from the phone speaker.....

Sometimes you just got soft reset... it is wierd though,.. wish i could close the thread!
