My screen on my Vouge looks the same as this picture here
http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/927/foobarkr1.jpg

It still functions fine and the touch screen still works.. I thought it was something under the screen protector but no.. someone in this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=25981&page=3 is having the same issue but doesn't have a definitive cause. I've tried searching but can't find anything.

Anyone know what the story is? Is it covered under warrenty (phone is 3 months old approx)

yes...you have atleast a full one year manufacture warranty with HTC. As for the cause, not to sure!

what that looks like to me is that the fluids for the touch screen sensors have either gotten to hot or they had great pressure placed on them and that caused it to blow and leak under the protective soft sqooshy layer you will notice on your touchscreen....... if you look very carefully when you push down with the stylus on the screen the screen will actually go in a little bit due to it having a soft top layer.

My Touch that I am sending back looked exactly like that too after a couple months. I also thought it was the adhesive under the protector, but when I removed it, it was still there. Mine never had any problem with touch responsiveness though, and I had it for like 6 months before sending it back.

Edit: Sending it back because I got a Mogul, not because there was an issue with the phone

right the sensors are still good so it would still work just like a calculator gets it from heat or pressure but it still works also..........

The Enuser has a faulty screen, Most noticeable when working under fluorescent lights. The screen doesn't appear broken and the phone is working.

Not sure if they mean digitizer when the say front bezel touch window.. And Flashed rom (wonder if they just did another reset??) .. havent got the phone back in my hot little hands yet so not sure if fixed for sure
