a friend of mine owns a palm treo 700wx, and my question is, is there any way to install wm6.1 on it? it is a sprint version, and he wants to get rev a, is this phone even compatible with rev a? the phone currently has wm5 on it, so even if there was a way to get wm6.0 on it, that would be sweet, thanks in advance!

no there is no custom roms period for the device and never will be unfortunately......... and there was never a upgrade either.

that sucks... so what i should do is tell him to call asurion and tell them that his palm broke, and he wants a mogul. methinks they will do that for the nominal price of 50$.

Nah, they wont. he needs to call Customer Service and tell him how unsatisfied he is with the phone and it has so many issues and he would like a more stable windows based phone and would probably have to pay the difference between them. But you never know maybe 50 maybe 150! Call and Complain! Best advice to get it swaped!

his contract is coming up at the end of this year, think i am going to suggest him getting an htc diamond

the raphael would be sweet, but the weird thing is that it isn' on htc's website yet, which means to me that it might not come out till well after the diamond. I want that raphael soooo badly, but then again the mogul does what I need plus more. I love being able to ask customers "How would you like to get live tv, xm, sirius, and youtube videos on the go?" I am hoping that we actually sell these phones, but my store unfortunatly never got the moguls, but on the other hand, we have sold more touches in the district than anyone else. It got to the point of which I was calling the rest of the stores in the district, and trying to get them to send us all their phones! Hey, if any of you guys are high up with sprint, put a good word in for radioshack in uniontown pa, for us to get these phones... PWEEZE
