I have tried to link my data connection to my Acura, but It won't link to their server. I went to Acura's Acuralink site and i did not find the Mogul as a phone option. I did see the Touch and it stated that the Touch was not compatible due to " Bluetooth Audio not available for this vehicle/trim level". Is there a work around? When I had my 6700 with Helmi's Kitchen which included Window Mobile 6, it connected without a hitch. I would like this feature so it could remind me of servce dates or if I have a sensor notification to to hook up to Acura for a diagnostic while I am driving the vehicle.

I have the latest official Sprint Rom, with Rev A upgrade from Sprint. Windows 6 is the OS, no Kitchen upgrades.

i would try to go to a kitchen for the fact that the bluetooth stack has been updated and that might get it to connect for you.

The Phone is recognized by the car. It pairs and I can make calls via handsfree as well as the battery meter and signal strength meter are displayed as they should. However, the phone will not connect with the Acura server which sends messages to Acura for diagnostics, plus reminders are sent from Acura reminding of scheduled maintenance. Will Bluetooth impact data connection?

if its using your cars data bluetooth would affect it..if its using your phones it would be a modem setup issue.you would have to consult a tech for acura to see if and what specific server it uses then.

According to Acura, it is not a list phone on their website so it is not compatible. The Apache was also not on the compatibility list, but once I upgraded with Helmi's Kirchen It displayed meters and connected to Data Connection. I was hoping that I could set some type of configuration since I have the phone running great right now. Any recommended kitchen's if I decide to go that route. It doesn't seem to be as stright forward to flash a Kitchen as it was for the 6700, or am I mistaken?

What model of Acura do you have. I have a 2007 MDX w/entertainment. I had the Alltel PPC6800 that would freeze up when connected to the HFL. The ROM version I had was 2.14.6771.3. Do you have any problems with your phone freezing. I know th phone now have a updated ROM.

I have the 2005/2006 RL. The Phone doesn't freeze, sometimes the voice dialer activates itself, but generally everything works in the display window (Antenna Strength, Battery level) just can't coonect to Acura Server

Have we made any progress on this since the PPC-6800 has gone to windows mobile 6.1?

I have an 08 TL with Navi and I'd really like to get the data connection working with my phone and AcuraLink.

What about a manual setting?

Thanks in advance for the help and input.

Still no luck? My car's battery dies (Due to extreme cold weather and not driving the car all week) I had to re-apply all security codes and link with phone. i decided to take the plunge and flash to Drellisdee's Titan Rom (Heard it was fast). I will let you know if it links with server. I did flash to stock Sprint 6.1 and still no server connection. Once I have this flash thing down, I may try Kaos'.

Success. I was not only able to place a call handsfree and link with my phone with battery strength and antenna strength displayed, I was also able to connect to Acura Link server for remote diagnostic and appointment reminders. I believe I was able to link with a Kitchen on my old Apache.
