I installed the OMJ WM 6.1 RevA and GPS ROM correctly and have the 3.37 radio installed...For some reason I am getting speeds of 100-150 kb/sec in areas where I used to get 500-600...I was expecting to see a jump up to 1500-2000 like everyone else in RevA is getting. I also checked EVDO maps and RevA is running in my area.

My Device Info is as follows:
ROM version: 3.37.NO2.200
ROM date: 4/9/08
Radio version: 3.37.10
Protocol Version: DCAAXAM-4350H
Hardware version: 0001
PRL version: 51020
PRI version: 1.37_002
Browser version: MSIE 6.0
ESN: ---
ERI version: 4

I also must mention that yesterday I was still getting 500-600...but for some reason today nothing over 150. The only changes I made since yesterday was that I ran the TeleNav 1 time and changed the slot cycle index from 2-->0 (which I have since changed back to 2, with no improvement in the 150 kb/sec speed....

As you can imagine this is really upsetting because I was thinking my speeds would be improving and I dont know if I can even call Verizon to complain about th espeeds because I have a modified phone which I dont think they support.

when you prolly messed with the SCI settings you changed the rev a thing also..... so basically go back into the area and look ofr rev a and than change that to the opposite of what it is on and see if that does summtin for you.

The only settings I changed were the SCI settings...there are no RevA settings in any of hte menu's that are accessed when entering the SCI settings.

I dont understand this...I've made no changes to the RevA settings so even if they werent enabled before I should still be getting similar speeds to what I had before....Im not..Can you imagine how much this sucks

Hi Dash,

Just wondering if you can explain if these settings are correct:
Modem Settings

Preferred mode (I changed from Auto --> HDR only) other choices are digital, cdma
HDR Hybrid Preferred (Default is enabled)

What is the Hybrid preferred??

These are the only settings I could find that are related to EVDO...I know HDR only forces EVDO and no 1X connections
