Will a Sprint Touch work on Alltel

I am looking at buying a Touch, I have Alltel but I have found a deal on a Sprint Touch. Both carriers are CDMA and I plan to flash the ROM as soon as I get it anyway. Am I wrong or I should be able to activate it on Alltel, correct?

no you wont unless you know someone on the inside because other carriers will not activate another carriers device on their plan since they want you to purchase their phone.
