HTC Touch Pro revealed- aka the Raphael

HTC has finally uncovered the long awaited Raphael and has cristened it as the HTC Touch Pro. This is not the first time we've seen the Touch Pro, we first got a glimpse of it a few months back thanks to Sprint and just recently from T-Mobile as the MDA Vario IV.

Like the Touch Diamond, the Touch Pro will feature HTC's touchFLO 3D interface and has a "new touch-sensitive control for device interaction" and a full QWERTY keyboard. Other features include HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA wireless connectivity, a 1350 mAh battery with up to 8 hours of talk time, 512 MB flash, 288 MB RAM with micro SD memory card expansion, GPS capabilities, 2.8-inch VGA touch screen and 3.2MP camera equipped with video calling.

Europ, Asia, and the Middle East will get their hands on the HTC Touch Pro by "late summer" while the rest of us in North and Latin America will have to wait a few extra months. Like usual, price for the HTC Touch Pro was not released, but expect to pay a bit more than the Diamond once it's released.

So it does not look like a JULY release may be coming!

Alright Dash...now is the time to put collective minds to gether or just yours and come up with a way to trade in the mogul for a free HTC touch pro.

4 quarter good for me. If I'm not able to get the hook up my contract restarts in FEB. Discounts!

Yup you beat me to it. I was just going to post when I came across this one, good job! Well I gues this is going to be like the Mogul 2 I was refering to several months back. It looks amazing! Seems like samsung is missing the boat again with there poor timing release of the instinct. And the fact that it is not going to be a windows phone. Or That could help it! lol

I have one question is that a flash on the back of this phone I havent been able to get confirmation! But coming from a touch wich has no flash ,that would be AMAZING!!!

PS. Ahhhhhh when is that touch official rev a update coming out ? HA HA HA :Flush:FNRIDICULOUS!!!

On Saturday i was looking to upgrade my Apache to a Touch, and the guy at the Sprint store and I chatted for awhile about Raphael. The expected release according to him is mid-November. I am more than happy to wait until then.

BTW, I did not get the Touch. I am waiting for this one.

A keyboard is a must, memeory card doesnt matter. I do a ton of work emails and text. i also need a super clear viewing screen for looking at word, excel, and estimates.
