try uninstalling the cab file that you installed and see what that does.

Having some strange sound issues myself.
Have no added any new programs for months, but about a week ago the phone just stopped ringing. When I receive a call, if you hold the phone to your ear, you do hear a little static... that's it.
Strange thing is, this has not at all affected my messaging tones, or the screen tap sounds... just the ringtone.
I've uninstalled Ringo, and I've done everything I can possibly think of to avoid a hard reset, though I forsee that in the near future.
Anyone ever heard of this occuring? Appreciate the input.

Yes, I searched for it... but I'm assuming that means a hard reset, eh?
Unfortunately, it's pretty much inevitable already, IMO.

actually bro, i may be late to this reply but i have experienced same issue, exactly the same to the ringer is very low. it ended up being a virus on my phone from downloading certain software from p***********.com. is what the sprint tech told me. so you may have a virus on your phone, a hard reset will do, just save yur files to a SD, and back up yur contacts.

dont know what site that is since you starred it out lmao but you know there is only 2 virusus for phones and neither are released..... they were made to prove it could be done and dont believe what the sprint guy told you because 99.9% of them dont know what the hell they are talking bout.... he just said that because he didnt know the real answer........ i guarntee it isnt a virus on the phone and i will put money and all my phones on that.

Dunno about it being a virus, but the hard reset did the trick just fine. Sorry it took me a bit to update, but eh... you'll live
