Ok i think i am ready to make an attempt at my first rom. Would ask the more experienced rom creators for some pointers. I have buildos and have toyed with it already. Jut looking for that push in the right direction. All help and suggestions are welcome. Thanks

well its basically what you like and all..... i would have to write 10 pages worth to get a good way to build a rom and all and its all the way i do it.... everyone has there own way bro... its all tinkering.

Oops my bad. I have been out of it the last few days been running on empty. Can't even read right.

yeah i seen how you click on what you want. Are there any absolutes that you have to have. I know the programs are a choice. Just wanna make sure i get the must haves so when i load it i dont have a 500 dollar paper weight lol. Appreciate the help dash figure ive sat and read and watched long enough time to get dirty

First, you wont have a paper weight. I do highly suggest that you read D/\SH's post about flashing though.
As far as programs, thats up to you bro. I would always recommend proggies like pocketrar, TCMP, Google Maps, etc. I always put the must haves on my builds then create a folder on my SD card with all the programs that I like to use. I also have a rom on my card. That way if Im out on the road or away from the computer if something happens I can just hard reset or re-flash from my memory card. Then after that I have my cab files there also.
Its a matter of choice though. Good luck and have fun.
