I am having probelms email through yahoo, whenever I attempt to do so I get an error message stating " the Message could nto be sent Check that you have netowrk coverage and the your account is correct" I erased my account and set it up again, but get the same message.

I received email fine, no problems on incoming mail.

Anyone know whats going on?

Sorry, I am using the stock sprint rom. Since its yahoo, it detects the settings automatically and I haven't changed any of those.

Incoming mail Server:
imap.mail.yahoo.com

Outgoing Server:
smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com

Requires authentication

huh matches up to mine and mine works fine...... no clue what the problem would be.... have yout tried doing a backup and seeing if that fixes the problem after you perform the hard reset.

sorry dash, I wasn't trying to post a link, so I don't know what was up with that. what I was trying to post was that I have a bellsouth e-mail account and I had to call sprint tech support and what they did was set me up a sprint pcs e-mail account and set my outgoing server to that. I did the same thing as far as having automatic detection and I could receive fine but not send, but as soon as I set my outgoing server to the sprint it worked fine.
