help with opera please

I am trying to get the opera browser w/uninstall loaded on my verizon touch. this is my first time, so Im pretty dumb with it all at this point.
I rapidshare downloaded it this morning from my pc. I then transfered files to my programs folder on my phone. im now stuck. was that correct process?

its a cab file or exe file you do these

cab place on phone and than double click and install to main memory

exe connect to activesync and double click on your computer.
