if you saved the PIM file itself which should be one file, then u need a program that can restore that file, NS contacts backup is a good one i use, you can google it or do a search im not sure if we have it here. but when u find it install it to device and then go to start/programs/and find ns cont backup and then open it, then hit the right and should pull up a screen that says restore, hit that and u should see a bunch of files, no go find the pim where ever u put it and then double click it

next time dont just copy the pim file b.c u cant do anything with it, PIM backup and NS contact backup are 2 ways of backing up and restoring the PIM, there are many other ways so read on and search thru
just download pim backup and install to your phone than drag that folder over ansd it should work..... let me know how that goes.
thanks brother

i use selboriyorker backup on my htc touch.. i am going to get the htc pro soon and was wondering if it is ok to install all my PIM data from one of the htc touch backups onto the htc pro... i know i should install all the progrmas from scratch especially since its a vga screen now but are the appointments and contacts ok to reinstall from backup...?
