I was playing around with my buddy's new Samsung Instinct and noticed that it vibrates lightly every time a button on the screen is selected. My question:
Is there software out there that will add this effect to my mogul? Should I start working on writing it?

There is something like it but so far it only works on the dial pad. If you would write something like it I would happily be a tester and donor :)

found this, trying the 2nd program listed called "Vibz"...i'll give it a good whirl, and let you guys know...
http://www.modaco.com/content/htc-diamond-diamond-modaco-com/269892/haptic-touchkeyboard-for-wm6/#entry901202
Edit: it's working pretty good, but the vibration is not subtle AT ALL...and seems a bit delayed when scrolling up and down in browser...also, seems like it would be a huge battery hog since the level of vibration is so high...just my input....so far...
again the program is called vibz and is located in the modaco thread i posted above..
Also, quick tip for install and starting/stopping procedure, best idea is to extract the exe from rar file and just move to a folder you'll be able to remember on your phone, then to start just click the exe, and do the same to stop the program...

You can download touch commander beta and theres vibration feedback but you have to go into file explorer and find touch commanders folder and go to touch control.Theres options it you want noises when you scroll or vibration when you tap the screen.

I had the LG Voyager and loved the touch vibration when you clicked on icons. There is a program. You can find it at freewareppc... the name of the program is called touchresponse v02.2
I tried it on my mogul... but didn't like it. It will not come close to that of the voyager. The mogul has a stronger vibration and it makes it feel like the playstation vibration joystick.

Same here... I dl a while back, didnt really feel it... it'd be a lot more functional if there was more adjustable settings, like if you could set it up to vibrate whenever your sip was deployed so it be more like haptic feedback, and set it to your liking, but as of now its just on or off, which get pretty annoying, when you doing the most basic thing and really dont need or want it to vibrate, orr if you just touch the screen by accident just picking it up... basically its a pain... but hopefully ww/ time and a few more release the developer will make those changes, then itll be a good app... in my opinion...
