View Full Version : Contacts won't sync

I just did a alltel software rom update, everything went smoothly until I did my activesync.

Even though the contacts is checked in activesync, they did not download to my phone. Files, tasks, etc.. all downloaded.

When I pull up activesync on my phone and look in options, Contacts are gray(not checked) and will not allow you to check it.

Any help??

OK just delete the partnership with Activesunv and create a new one. TIP: Open up outlook on your pc and make sure your contacts are there. Then delete the partnership in active sync, then connect the phone and make a NEW partnership! You should be good! Let us know if this werks!

Tried that a few times, I deleted the partnership off activesync and deleted the one on the phone too.

thats very odd. A couple more things. Uninstall activesync and restart the pc and then install activesync and try to sync again. If not, you may want to REFLASH, take the battery out and hardrest. Also, sometimes when My Pc is on for a while, Activesync like to trip out and i have to restart my pc for it to get workin well again. Hope this helps!

Been there, done that. I did a hard reset, reinstalled activesync, nothing helps.

I was hoping that when I did the hard reset it would put the old rom back on there and then I could reinstall it, but it kept the new one on there

you can reinstall the stock rom we have it here or you can get it from www.htc.com
