Just yesterday, I turned off my phone for an hour and then after I turned it back on, every single thing was going slow. It took about 20 seconds to switch tabs on the HTC home plugin, and every app took a couple of minutes to open. Even menus were having a hard time opening. Also, all of my appointments and tasks were gone. I hadn't installed anything recently, or modified anything so I was stumped as to why this happened. After a while I did a clean-up with SKtools and that fixed the performance and all of my appointments and tasks decided to show up again. So I thought that was over, until it happened again. This time I hadn't turned off my phone though. Just in between me using it. So I did the clean-up again which fixed it, but does anyone know why this would happen or what would cause it? I looked at the files Sktools was cleaning up and the only thing was the google maps cache, but I hadn't even used google maps.

try reinstalling google maps and soft reset? see if it happens again. see if there is an option in GMAPS to store cache on SD card...that would be sick.

we are going to need more info, like what apps are you running, had you recently installed any certain apps/changed any settings...things of that nature

The most recent program I installed was skyfire and that was a week ago. The only programs I am running are iFonz and PocketCM.

you might have to go the route of the hard reset....... have you installed and uninstalled alot of programs since your last hard reset?

Well actually, I had flashed to the newest Sprint ROM (stock) and have just installed programs, the only program that I have uninstalled is iFonz and that was to install an updated version. No hard reset since the upgrade. If I have to hard reset it won't be such a big deal because I have a backup made right after I installed everything.

what rom did you flash too? is it custom or stock sprint rom? did you unlock the phone if custom and relock if stock? also after flash did you take the battery out for a minute than back in and than hard reset?

I did flash to the Stock Sprint Rom and took the battery out and did a hard reset. Since then I have not done a hard reset. And actually I don't think I ever relocked it but under all the ROM flashing tutorials for the touch it never said anything about relocking.

you only relock if its a sprint-released stock rom, otherwise you dont relock.
but i would do a hard reset.
