Well idk if this question is technically for the 6800 but I have a 6800 so I am going to ask the question here, my phone has been running slow as D/\sh already knows, but how do I hard reset my phone w/o losing all my stuff, is there a backup program that I can backup all my stuff, save that file to my computer or something, do a hard reset and apply the file to restore my phone to how it was before the hard reset, and hopefully it will run like new, I used that HTC Performance thing and my phone idles between 18-21mb memory..
As you can see in the pic below u can see the cracked out smiley face doesin't look to good o.O lol..

Well I tryed to use the "Fourm Search" to find out exactly where to put this question but when I put in "Hard Reset" alot comes up and not just about technical help, sorry if it's in the wrong spot..

there is a whole bunch of backup programs most of them save the file the you can use to restore your device on the storage card, if you search backup you should be able to find a few programs for backup and restore

also htcustom be sure that you dont back up the phone just the stuff like contacts and texts....... otherwise you ill back up the problems that you are having.

So when it gives me check boxes of what I wan't to backup just backup contacts? bc I have all my programs on my storage card, just remove my card and do the hard reset and restore my contacts?

edit:
just so you know, you can always restore your contacts thru activesync if you have outlook installed, as well....works like a charm for me, every time i HR.
