I have the sprint HTC touch... im wondering if an update or dl that could ad haptic touch to the touch? is this something that would have to be factory installed (hardware) or is it just software functionality?

It's like what the samsung instinct has... where there is a slight vibration when you touch "keys" on the the phone, or texting.

i know there's one for the dialer screen, but i was wondering if there was one for all screens... that would also be able to "tone down" the vibration (many seem to use the stock vibration level which is way too heavy for every button use.

I saw the XDA developer forum had something they were brewing up, but i wouldn't call my self a developer - was just wondering if there was anything else out there. :help-me:

he means, dont map it to a button(ex. your camera button, etc) b/c every time you type a letter, it will vibrate to much
