Notice how the old file name has something added to it at the end? All of these were pictures that I took before i upgraded to the new version of WindowsMobile and had saved them on my storage card.

yep either its looking for a program that you uninstalled or when you installed a program in storage area...and when you click on it to open, its looking for the default installation which will be memory..The only work around this is uninstall and reinstall into memory instead of storage most program works that way.. we learn from our trials.

thats the key word i just heard (vogue) your card got corrupted bro. the vogue is notorious for doing this..... place the card in the sd card slot of your computer and right click and see if it can possibly restore it let me know how this goes for you.

I found out the problem, it wasn't that the storage card was corrupted. The problem is that for some reason all the pictures stored on my storage card were encrypted. I didn't know I turned this setting on. But if you don't back up the pictures before a hard reset then the decryption keys are actually lost in the process and can't be retrieved therefore the files can't be opened. :[
