Ok, I've got a slightly odd one here. Any time my brother sends me a text message (he's using a bb curve on cellular south), it comes in marked as high priority. It's a bit of a nuisance as I use voice command to announce high prioirty emails from work, and it reads his texts.

I thought it was something on his end, but we checked and he's set to normal, plus nobody else he sends messages to show them as high. My wife also has a curve (with Sprint) and none of her messages come in with high priority.

I've looked around and couldn't find anything, but is there anything in the contact list or such that would trigger his text messages to flag high priority?

the only way that they get flagged high priority is if he changes the priority to that before sending

That was my thinking too, but we verified that he was set to normal before sending test messages and they still flagged high. It's definately a strange one.

huh odd maby there is a setting on your phone that is making it so all messages from that user are flagged as high priority.

That's what I was thinking, but I'm at a loss to finding anything. Checked contact list, poked around in registry, nothing in the sms settings, can't find anything that looks like it would affect it.
