I know the Diamond was available to order online before it came out but, does anyone know the exact date on when the touch pro will be available to order online on the website? I know its coming out the 19th but, will you be able to order the phone before then?

doubt it, but all you have to do is call on the 19that 8 am when they open up and you will have one over nighted to you :>

i was wondering the same but if i order online will it be over night also, and should i call the sprint up the street from me or what, and also if i order online will it go on my bill or do i pay when i order because i want to make sure i have my money in my account when i go to order

If you have a non spending limit acct and your in good standing they will. They just did for me. However they charge me the price of phone but I get that price credited soon as they get my touch back.....Hence I paid nothing.
If you have a spending limit only acct services can make it happen. But beware it can put you over your limit

congrats but i will tell you one thing though.... call back and make sure the notes were added to your accoutn.. sprint is known for saying things to make you happy and than having no trace of it ever being said even though it was supposed to be in your notes........ hope all goes well and tell us if they added it to your notes when you find out :>

I plan to just keep watching their site and other places until I can find more info on an actual release date and then call them back if I don't hear anything. I am totally Jonesing for this phone and have been for about 5 months now. I was going to just buy the Mogul but when I saw this one just around the corner I thought I better wait. well sprint knows a lot of people that got the diamond would change them for the PRO what it was released. The end of life date for the mogul even got pushed back, as well as the touch.

Wow - if AT&T beats Sprint to it I am going to guess they will loose a lot of customers! I thought they were going to have the pro exclusive to them for at least 6 months. I did find an article confirming AT&T to release the "Fuse" on the 23rd of Oct. And the specs showed that the Fuze was going to be able to use up to 32g (http://www.att-phones.org/att-fuze-specs-leaked.html) Micro SD card! Whats up with that? From what I have read the Pro will go up to 16G.

the real reason it got delayed was to fix some of the problems that were present with the gsm troubles including camer lag troubles, overheating, etc.

naw basically what is done is that we flash one than place back in the box nicely with new packaging and than packaged back in the box and called good.......... just caught a few hours of sleeps and actually at the airport right now to fly over to grand rapids again and do my tv interview with the news this afternoon :> but anyways ended yesterday with a total of 1,271 phones flashed..... even got sick of go through usb cables that i taught the other 20 guys and gals how to flash from a card lmao.

it makes a chime just like the diamond does. and as well as stability seems like they have had a lot of progress in the right direction compared to the way that the diamond was released on the market.... sprint still has a cow of a rom on the phone though :<

well I am more than happy to announce the I picked my TP up from Best Buy yesterday the 25th from my local BB! writting this live with the TP now in fact. For me this is a huge learning curve lol but soon hope to master the themes & all the other kewl things this bad boy can do! Yup, just got off the phone with Telesales at Sprint. They have the Pro. Normal shipping 3-5 days but they can and will over night it to me. However, I have to go to the physical store, turn my Touch Diamond in and wait a day or so for over night delivery. Now if I get really lucky the 'physical' store will have the Pro which will simplify things greatly. I'm headed out to the farm to roast a pig this morning...I wonder if the store opens before I have to leave? Gonna check online for store hours, hehehe.

Can't find that persons post, but anyways: I went to best buy and got me and my wife the touch pro with my new 2 year contract for 299.99. Afterwards i mentioned that i heard about a special for 20 percent off on all pda's that they were supposed to be running and the guy looked at me and started laughing like i was full of shit. I told him he needed to call his supervisor cause i wasnt bs'n him. The supervisor verified it and i walked out with my 2 new touch pro's for 253 a piece. Such a nice phone i must say.
