Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the forums here, as I'm both a new member and a new user to WM Pocket PCs.
I'm currently running a HTC Touch (Sprint) with the stock WM6.1 update.
My previous phone was a Samsung Instinct, which lasted 27 days before the firmware began to crash and caused the phone to lock up everytime a call came in while streaming music thru Bluetooth.
So far, I've had very little issues with the Touch, and find it a much more powerful device compared to previous devices I've owned.
Since I drive taxi full-time and work part-time as a Bail Enforcement Officer (also known as a Fugitive Recovery Agent), having information available in such a small package right at my fingertips has become indispensable.
I don't even worry about not having my laptop with me, as the important stuff fits in such a small package.
What suprised me even more: My HTC Touch has just as powerful a processor as my first desktop computer, and more memory.
I hope to learn more about the full capabilities of this phone, as I love making things "my own", with the help of everyone here.
Thanks for allowing me to find your site, and I look forward to learning from you all.
Sincerely,
