View Full Version : Mogul Replaced Six Times in as Many Month What to do I need your help

I purchased a pc 6800 from sprint. I have gotten 5 replacement and just had to order a sixth one today. I spent $300.00 on this phone, and btw never got my one hundred dollar rebate. they say they never got my info. i have called them a couple times a month. The last time I called them the rep told me they would give me 175.00 off a new phone. I told him I was not going to pay them any more money and I wanted to know what I had to pay to cancel. So he then offered me a free touch or instinct. He said that they were comparable to the mogul. I told them that they were not comparable b/c it was not windows based, but he wanted to tryand convince me, but I just got off of the phone with him. i was just looking on sprint.com and they have the new touch diamond. I would like to try and that one or the pro bc i like the keyboard. My question is what should I expect to get from sprint if anything. It really pisses me off that I have had to go through this with this phone that cost so much money. I have had legit problems with this phone and they keep sending refurbished phones. the 1st replacement was within 30 days and they gave me a refurbished phone. What should I do? Iwant to be treated fairly but it does not seem like Sprint cares to much. I have been with sprint/nextel for 8 yrs. and have had problems in the past. Can someone please shed some light on the best that I could possible get out of this deal. One last thing I don't want to leave bc of the everything plan but if I have to buy another i might! Sorry so long! Any advice is appreciated ty in advance.

ahhh i dunno waht to tell you man. i've had 2 refurbs from asurion and the first was a pos and the second was better than the 1st. try through ecare to see if they'd replace ur phone with a touch diamond. i've heard of some straight changes so you can try.

You can get new phones from asurion if you talk to the right people. Last phone i got from asurion after i lost my mogul on the airplane was a brand new one.

not always gonna be new. their policy is even if they request for new, they will send out whatever's available if there's no new units. hmmm i learned that...:superstition:

Im on my 3rd Diamond replacement ... hehe. Did you keep any of the batteries? I'm getting ready to mail back the phones (2) but I'm kinda tempted to see what will happen if I keep one of the batteries [cuz its only been lasting 4 hours].

you can keep odd ball stuff without getting charged like the hosters and the stylus since they just throw those away... but the battery and the chargers def add or they will charge you.... i even keep the usb since they toss those also.... i have around 20 usb cords and 6 from the diamond and the tocuh pro :>

hell yeah go for it bro.... the pro is a hell of a phone :> and its way sexier than the mogul.

I got a replacement was refurnished and i it didn't work I called them in next day I got it but I'm with sprint for like 10 years o so never ever I had a late payment or o just call for nothing

thats noithing compared to some deals the staff ehre gets..... you just have to have something like that and do a lil research from us here and you will be able to do the same if not more since you have been with the company for 8 years.... big hint is retentions.

do some research around the site and you will find many ways that we have discussed all over the board :> remember keywords are your friends..... after a little bit of searching come back with what you found and i will fill you in on the rest. :friends:

we'll the original price for the mogul is 500 without the plan, so you're basically paying 650 for a touch pro. i say don't give in to such an offer. you've had 5 refurbished moguls since 3 months ago and you're still having problems with the phone. if they didn't get the clue before the sent you the third one then there is no excuse for their ignorance. you've been a loyal customer for 8 years THATS NO JOKE, 8 YEARS IS NO JOKE. for them to screw up like that to such a good customer is straight wrong. and for them to try and cover there mistake by offering you something like a touch pro for your mogul AND $150 if they gave it to you for just the mogul then that would be fine but they're just trying to milk your pocket.

so to conclude my opinion DONT DO IT! DONT GIVE IN!

I have to agree with Dash. after doing some research on this site and others i eneded up getting my pro for $50 and also got to keep my diamond that they sent me for free in sept.
