Hi all I went to press and hold the number 1 on my keypad to for my voicemail speed dial and it just sat did not connect like there was no number stored under for voicemail speed dial. I checked the speed dials and it shows that number 1 is set for my voicemail to dial my number. I soft reset it and still it doesnt connect via speed dial to my voicemail. alkl other speed dials work fine... any clues as to how i can fix this? thanks

go to Settings/ Phone then "Services" tab. Scroll down to "Voicemail" and click "Get Settings..." click "clear" then OK
try to hold down "1" now and see if it calls your voicemail

dial ##778# and than get your msl from sprint customer service (they have to give it to you) and than go to edit and enter the unlock code. once you do that go to the bottom left and clock on the view info tab and go to phone directory. under there you will see a list and add it to the one you want and reset on prompt..... if you dont have the msl you can go to view but you wont be able to change it only see what i am talking about.

hey dash, tried that and no luck either. did hard reset and it worked again, however my backups when i restore em restore the problem again. is there somewhere in the registry that you know of that could be causing it s o i can just fix registry instead of rebuilding from scratch . thanks

well yeah your restoring everything so it would still have the troubles...... but its probably a program conflicting or just time for a hard reset..... it happends... just back up your contacts using pimbackup and than once you do that all you have to do is reinstall the apps....
