Hi, everyone, I have been on here for about 2 weeks now. So yes I would be a NOOB. I have installed a few programs, gave thanks for the ones I have used of course.
Now I would like to uninstall a few main programs on my phone. I am using Skyfire now so would like to uninstall original Opera program along with a few others.
How would I go about this task? I have searched my phone (while USB connected on my PC) to find nothing. Is there a program I can use that will safely remove these programs? Also is there a Cleaner or Defrag program I can use to clean up my system...if that is even possible.
Thanks in advance for any answers or advice!! You guys do amazing work here, look forward to being here for a while. Now that I have switched to a WM phone I dont think I could ever go back to the same'ol brick phone.

start menu > settings > system (tab) > 'remove programs' icon
if thats not working for you, you can try using a program like 'SKTOOLS' or
using ur file explore and going into your windows folder etc to delete the file manually (but i dont reccomend) that last one untill your comfortable and know what your doing; otherwise you may end up deleting vital files necessary to your systems operation!

Hi thanks for the quick response, I have been exactly where you are talking about. But it only shows me my files in storage memory (SD Card). Can I change it to view main device memory?

really, cuz the stock rom for the touch when i got it didnt come with opera... unless he's on a custom rom?
@gumdrops:
It should show any and all apps you installed on the phone yourself, if the app is part of the rom, it wont show, and the only way to get rid of it is to flash another rom without that feature....

Ok thanks, that is exactly the answer I was expecting for the uninstall. Just was not sure.
Does anyone have more info on a defrag or cleaning program that they can suggest.
