Hey everyone, this is my first problem that I have encountered with the Touch Pro. Let's say that I begin to add a contact to my phone book with the keyboard closed, everything is fine and the letters that I type are visible, however once I open the keyboard to type with that, the letters become invisible. I don't know if it's because of an application that I installed? Maybe the Diamond tweak did this? I have no idea, any suggestions? I am currently running stock rom, haven't flashed to any other rom yet.

Thanks

huh no clue i havent encountered that problem..... have you tried to soft reset to see what that does? and also are you running an aftermarket keyboard by any chance? i know some keyboards will cause troubles with certain devices.

Probably not much help, but I had that problem and I never found the exact culprit.

A hard reset definitely fixes the issue though.

nope, not running an aftermarket keyboard...i cant think of anything that i installed that would affect this...i would definitely do a hard reset, but i dont want to lose all of my contacts...if it becomes just way too bothersome i guess ill have to. thanks for the info!

im gonna back all of that stuff up now just in case, but i found out the answer to the question. This is what I was told to do:

"Using DiamondTweak Disable ClearType when in landscape mode"

I did this but it didnt work, so I went into Start > Settings > System > Screen > and disabled ClearType and it worked. Just a heads up in case anyone runs into this same problem.

Thanks for the fast responses

I was just about to be pissed off at my touch pro and post this similar problem. However instead I would like to thank to whomever creates the advance search when I start make my thread that covers the topic already.

Also thank you for the fix too
