Using advance Configuation tool... (if you dont have it, you can download it here: https://www.wckediden.com/showthread.php?t=174777&highlight=touch+essentials)

and if that doesnt woork get it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=418151

Under the “Perfomances” category:

Change file system cache to 8MB
Change file system filter cache to 131072
Change Glyph cache to 32KB
Here’s what the configuration should look like:

http://www.isyougeekedup.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/screen02-320x240.png (http://www.isyougeekedup.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/screen02.png)

Now click done, close and soft reset... and you should notice some considerable increase in your device performance...

Hope this help... hit that thanks if it does!

hmm I think u can merge this with taylors thread of tweaks/hacks/regs...it falls under the same category and we dont want to many things floating all over...just edit the 1st thread with the directions and add advance config cab to the attachments there.
