ok guys just made a breakthrough!! ok here is probably the FASTEST and EASIEST way to download cs4 master collection. turns out theres a loophole in the adobe website where you can download the entire master collection at 1mb/sec thats packed into being only 5.4gb!! its about a 2 hour download. but what makes this nice is theres another loophole by running the keygen and disabling adobe from connecting to check the activation you just got adobe cs4 master collection free. anyways heres exact directions:

1. Register an account with adobe.com
2. Log into newly opened account
3. Go to adobe.com/downloads
4. Select photosohp light room
5. Download the trial version
6. after a few seconds into the download cancel it
7. inject these codes into Firefox or IE address bar and download!

note this can also be used to install just selected programs. you can use this to do like just maybe flash photoshop and illustrator if you wanted. advantage this has over downloading this over others is the fact it comes with lots of extra contents like adobe bridge or even adobe pixel blender.

3- Run the file as Root. To do so, open a terminal window (Macintosh HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal) then do:

sudo -s

4- Enter your password

5- A root shell will open, then do:

sh (the path to the file)Mac_Activation_Crack
this will block the activation just like with the windows version.

If you choose the latter though, all support that was given in the other thread will be lost. Let me know what you decide you want to do.

i have been tryin for days to get this and i cant for the life of me figure it out when i paste http://trials.adobe.com/Applications/MastCol/CS4/Win/ADBESTAMCS4_LS1.7z it says internet explorer cant display webpage the other file works no problem it takes 5 secs as you say i have cs4 illustrator installed and photoshop cs4 and i dont even know if they are in trial i cant figure out how to see if i am so im sorry to keep botherin yall but i gotta get this please help me out thanks and again how can you verify you not in trial

i have a question for you guys i installed this evrythng is workin fine but when i open illustrator i get a message illustrator has a registry problem unless i run the ai reg tool from cs4 support but when i just close it out with out running that tool illustrator still works so im not sure if that is dangerous for me to run that tool if any of you guys have any suggestions i would appreciate it

this program is directly from adobe.com so there shouldn't be no corrupt files. it wouldn't hurt to run the adobe reg tool. or you might just reinstall. could just be a corrupt install.

I've been trying to dl the second link since last night. I've been had an account that's no problem. The first link went through with no problem. The second link would only get up to 25%-30% and would stop and say that it's completed. When I check the file out it would only be 1.43 GB. I have not clue what to do. Can I get some help here?

you have a corrupt download... somehow it didn't download all the way or properly... you need to redownload the lz file.

yeah was a typo. ive had numerous people having issues with ie and this... but safari and firefox download has been tested and works.

tried the mac crack but keep getting line 2: syntax error: unexpected end of file

the .lz which is the bigger one is the one you should redownload.

here try this method for mac. the above method was... iffy for me aswell but this one was clear cut and precise.

Things you should have:

- Keygen or Serial ready
- CS4 Masters Collection or CS4 Design Premium or... any CS4 Application or Set.
- Note (when typing DO NOT TYPE the "" apostrophes, and type as written, spaces and all)

Then:

1) Disconnect from the Internet...

2) Install the CS4 Application, whichever one it may be... (if already installed skip to step 4)

3) When promted for a serial, then either:
- Enter one from the Keygen.
- Choose trial mode and enter it later. (After inputting the code)

4) Now: GO TO APPLICATIONS, AND FIND UTILITIES, THEN FIND TERMINAL... THEN OPEN.

5) TYPE "sudo -s" press enter TYPE YOUR PASSWORD press enter...
6) THEN TYPE "vi /etc/hosts" and press enter.
7) NEXT, TYPE "i" DO NOT PRESS ENTER.
8) THEN FIND THE LINE WITH "broadcasthost" AND WITH YOUR ARROW KEYS GO TO THE VERY
END OF THAT LINE press enter...
9) THEN TYPE: (pressing enter after each line) (again DO NOT TYPE THE "";)

"127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com"

IF ANYTHING IS AFTER (::1 localhost) SUCH AS (::1 localhost 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) DELETE
IT, SPACE AND ALL. NOTHING SHOULD BE AFTER THE "t" IN "host", I'M REFERRING TO THIS
LINE ONLY, NOT BELOW IT.

12) NEXT, PRESS ESCAPE AND TYPE ":wq" (this writes the code)

13) NEXT, press enter AND EXIT OUT OF TERMINAL.

Now you can reconnect to the internet, (restart your computer if you like, it's up to you), start a CS4 Application, enter a Serial Number if you haven't already, update and enjoy...

I think the bigger file is a 7z file but anyways, I will try this weekend and see what I come up with. I have cs3 which I am totally ok with but the master addition would be nice.

can someone update my post with these new instructions. i have taken the liberty to just do a host file for vista users

vista with uac hosts fix:

paste this file into the following directory

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

the easiest way to navigate is to open mycomputer and paste this

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

in the address bar, you will then take and past the hosts file in thie folder, you will get an option to copy and replace say yes, then another window will pop up click continue then uac will activate once again click allow. this will modify your host file.

to finish it off enter a new serial in the program once you launch. ^^ you should be golden. if not jump on palringo and pm me and ill hook you up

i followed the steps for the mac in the terminal but I cant use the keygen on my mac does anyone have one for the mac or a serial that will work?? thats the last step for me now thanks

I have a question if anyone could answer for me I would appreciate it. I downloaded everything, got PS to work just fine, but when I close the program and go back in later or even right away, it asks me for the serial again, so I have to create another serial. Is there some way I can fix this so it doesn't ask everytime? I did the instructions step by step, using the .cmd that is supposed to block the site from checking it, but still no good.???

Got it working for myself, I just searched for serial numbers till i found one that finally worked thanks guys
