How do I kill old alarms? All 3 alarms are turned off, but I still get alarms at 3:30 AM and 5:30 AM that do not show up in the Alarms area of the phone. Very annoying. I need to have the phone turned on to get my 7:00 AM wake up call. But I also get woken at 3:30 and 5:30 alarms that I had set weeks ago, but they are somehow still active. Short of doing a full reset (and having to reload all by Email and other settings), how do I kill those old alarms?

First off what alarms are you using? Is it the one that comes on the phone, or are you using an alternative alarm program (ex. g-alarm)?

I'm only using the alarms that come with the phone. You see them when you click on the large time display on the cover screen. I am using no other alarm application.

My phone is 100% stock, Verizon, White Phone.
I appreciate your help and am not ignoring you. But I travel a lot and do not always have access to the web.

ok...did a bunch of searching for you and this is what i came up with.....

Check your Calendar events. Sometimes it automatically sets a reminder alarm to go off....i cleared all my reminders on outlook and it solved the problem

To turn off the alarm on Touch Pro, press the alarm icon in top header bar when the alarm starts, and in the new box that appears press disable. That stops the alarm but does not cancel, so next alarm setting is still OK.

And there is always an alternative. Have you considered trying one of our alternative alarm programs? I know that you're thinking "I want to stop the alarms, not get more!" But read this testimonial I found for you.

I found a FREE alarm program for Windows Mobile called G-Alarm. You can set alarms then close it and it wakes up when it's time to go off. It has many features like mutiple alarms, days selection, mutiple ringers on the same alarm, (you choose which ringers you want)puzzles or mazes between snoozes if chosen, confirm dismiss or snooze volume control, auto snooze time selectable and other features like dismiss when you turn on the lights, snooze or dismiss by shaking phone or turning it face down. All these features can be changed at any time. It also diables Windows alarms as it uses some of its files to operate. Theres more features, too many to list. Been using for a couple of weeks now and it works great.

And then there's my favorite.......

Easy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well ... the standard way would be to throw the alarm at the wall. That approach works, but could be rather expensive however. A little more gentle way would be to stumble to the phone. With bleary eyes find and touch the status bar at the top. Easy to find the top if you charge the phone every night. The top is the end without the cord plugged in. Once you've found the top, and touched the status bar, touch the little shrieking bell and then touch "Dismiss" at the bottom -- the end WITH the cord plugged in. Then throw the phone against the wall because after the third try the frigging alarm went off again.

Let us know if any of these help you!
