Hi I have a HTC Touch Pro through Vodaphone AU. I flashed a new rome the fuze rre onto it nps worked good other than bluetooth, so decided to try out another rom which was Merdins rom 3.4.

Installation went fine but on phone restarting only black screen with HTC Touch Pro came up and nothing else would happen.

After doing a hard reset the colored screen shows with this info

RAPH100
SPL-1.90.01Nex
MicroP-Raph (LED) v13
MicroP-Raph (key) v5
PSOC-Raph STAGE_CUT v0x36

Serial

Then if I do a soft reset from there it just comes up with the black htc screen again. I hope I haven't bricked the phone and any help would be appreciated. Note I can't get into activesync or anything either.

ok, first off. the phone isnt bricked. getting stuck on the touch pro screen could mean one of two things. either you have not unlocked the device or your device hasnt the right radio. the touch pro is quite new so there arent much radios, so did you properly unlock your device?

Thanks for your reply mate, as far as I know the phone is fully unlocked and have tested it with a different sim from another provider.

I dont think he means sim unlocked... but if you unlocked the hard-spl... I'm assuming it is because you said you flashed another rom which worked, so my geuss is its unlocked but the flash didnt take... i had a very similar incident on my vogue a couple weeks a go... check out this thread to see how I solved it: https://www.wckediden.com/showthread.php?t=180863

Ultimatly, if you search on how to get the touch pro into bootloader mode manually (there has been much info on how to do this posted, so it should be easy to find) and reflash, you should be good... make sure all your connections(usb hookup, etc) are secure and ur doing nothing else on you comp (remember not to let it hibernate or anything while flashing either)...and youll be fine... it's definatly not bricked... just sounds like the rom image got lost in the transfer

IMO
