Okay so using a Nokia 3220 as a spare becase my phone broke, and a friend wants it (idk why either) and i found a site that has unlock codes when you enter your infomation, i got the codes, but i need help entering them... So it says to 1) remove sim 2) turn phone on, 3) enter code, and thats it.. But when i entered the code, it came up as a number and nothing happened once i typed in the code....
Any help?

after you entered the unlock code did you hit the ok/enter button? (usually the talk button on basic phones)

yeah, i tried pushing the call button and i get the "Only Emergency Calls" and only other thing that works is the clear button... Should I try this with my friends SIM card in it?

try with a sim form a different provider than you are currently with.

okay... i wasnt sure, im gonna use his sim cause i did that before when i didnt have a code and it prompted me to enter a code as soon as i turned it on... But i can have his sim when im entering this right? Nothing will get messed up?

right you jsut need to enter thart code and than you wont ever havw to do it again..... its not gong to mess up anything... sims are still be used since it makes phone swapping way easier than havingot call, go in, or go online to do so liek you do with cdma

they may work..... give it a shot and see... the worst that it is going to say is invalid code.
