View Full Version : [ ISSUE SOLVED ] S2U2 background image

Wckediden is saying that i should post a new thread since i haven't in while so i figured i would ask this question. if it has already been answered please let me know and i will search for it. i am running scots r4r rom and s2u2. i would like to set my s2u2 background image to one of the theme images that came with the r4r rom. is this possible and if so how would i do it. i believe the image is a .tsk file.

You would have to resize the image to 480 by 640 , then once you do that you must rename the file "wallpaper". Make sure when you resize and save the image an it is .JPG other wise it wont change in s2u2. Also one you do this soft reset an it will take effect. Oh and this has been stated a few times in the site so search next time.

His profile says he has a mogul which is qvga, so IF thats true, he'd have to resize for qvga 240x320 as opposed to 480x640

Thanks you know I read that it was a mogul lol but started think in terms of my phone lol!!!!!

I can't open just the image though. in file explorer i can only find the theme itself and it won't let me open the file. i'll keep trying. thanks for the help.

to get the image you will need to download themegence to your pc. once you do that and get it installed you will use the button on the far left to open the tsk file. (make sure the default save destination is your desktop) thano nce you open this you will see all the files extracted on your desktop including the landscape and portrait modes of that theme. than you can just go from there without and resizing needed..... you would just have to rename the correct way and you will be golden..... takes seconds to do and if you have any further quetions feel free to ask.
