+1 I find it hard to believe a program bricked your phone unless whoever wrote the program wrote some crazy ass code designed to brick your phone...definitely try the hard reset

I am betting that he only installed the one HTC cab and not the Kaiser cab prior to it....As i remember (unless someone came up with a fix that makes only the one cab that I dont know about) to get the HTC Home to work you first have to install the kaiser cab...After installing that, install the HTC Home....I didnt come up with this but found it searching around one night...works great.

This is the instructional video that I followed to install at:

http://www.bwone.com/xv6800-windows-mobile-61-update/

which will also get you to both the cab files that need to be installed...he walks it through nicely....I think its the second video, but all are worth watching for the mogul/xv-6800 etc.

Soemthing else i noticed, and i dont know if it will matter or not, but the HTC home that he describes above states that it is for the Hermes, not the titan/mogul/6800....dont know if that will make a difference or not, but might have incompatible setttings if it is for the Hermes only....Also, if I am not mistaken the Hermes is a GSM phone...might have some different settings for that system than for the CDMA.....I cant think of a reason GSM vs CDMA in this instance would matter, but who knows? It might...

your phone isnt bricked... you just installed something you shouldnt have... the above poster are pretty much correct, follow their advice or siimply hard reset and start over fresh... do a search or read your manual to learn how to hard reset...

Also you couldnt dl anything b/c your new, and havent gone throught the proper channels to get dl privileges set up yet... submit a request in the members software download group and once approved youll be good to go... also check out the links provided to you By Weesje, and available in his Signature, my signature and Mike20pr's signature... to get you started the right way, w/ all the info you need to know on this site and learning about your device...

And lastly... welcome to Wckediden!

you issue is you downloaded htc home HERMES. if you dont mind losing your contacts and sht hold the 2 soft keys then use the stylus to hit the reset button. it will reset everything. if you actually want htc home customizer download this one
