Hey guys i was wanting to purchase the Htc 5800/S720 Libra/Fuzion but i see there is no rom for this phone to be flashed to cricket is there a different way to get this flash or someone can help me how to do it that would be great thanks

well that phone is gsm and cricket is cdma so there is no way that you could get it to work on crickets service.... you will have to go with a verizon, alltel, sprint, telus, device or one that doesnt take a sim card

do theyt really? damn didnt even know that, looked into it some and since the device is older and not very popular or wasnt at time of release i havent found any roms that have been made ofr the cdma version.

than it would be the same as any other phone to cricket....... all the settings are in the cricket threads we have here..... you can also find valuable and in depth information on cricket over at hofo. dont have too many cricket users around these parts so not much info.... mostly sprint, verizon, and alltel.

I was also wondering something about this and custom roms for it, not for flashing to Cricket or MetroPCS... But if there were any TouchFlo2D roms for it?

I found this phone on ebay and fell in love all over again, I just really like how it has both a numeric and qwerty keypad...


Unless someone could point out another CDMA HTC thats like this but maybe newer, which I don't think there are any...

i have never seen any custom roms for this period and your a verizon customer right? why not try the crippled touch pro, the touch, the mogul, etc......

If you look at the specifications on the Libra they are just the same as the specs for the mogul... You just have that numeric keypad built-in plus the slide out qwerty.. Which is why I like it..

right you should really try the touch pro than and get it from alltel or sprint and than get unlocked for metro. i have a touch pro that works but has dirty numbers through sprint that i would be willing to sell for cheap.

this one you would have to get veriaon to allow on there system but 100 bucks.

No worries about that since I'd just be flashing it over to MetroPCS, and I don't actually see how Verizon would tie into that..

When MetroPCS flashes a phone it doesn't matter if the ESN is good or bad I believe, just as long as you already have an open account with MetroPCS..
