I looked everywhere on Google but I just can't find out how to transfer files from the internet(by files I mean apps,) to my htc touch pro by sprint. I am using active sync, well here is what I'm doing, so can you help me.
1. Open up active sync and hit explore(after I'm connected)
2. Download the war app file to war.
3. Go to My Windows Mobile-Based phone
p.s. I'm on windows xp
so yea that's where I'm stuck at. I don't know how to move the war file to get it in my files and how do I move it to my phone.
If you don't get what I mean ask me and I will explain it more clearly.
In a nutshell I can't get the war downloaded app to my active sync> windows mobile-based phone files, and even if I did know how to do that I woudn't know how to transfer the files to my phone.

are you downloading apps to your computer first?
if you have sd card, why not just connect your phone to coputer via usb and when prompted select diskdrive and transfer the files as you would to a usb device?
if you don't have a sd card, then just use windows explorer to move the files to your phone after it syncs.
if you are using your phone to surf and are trying to save the files to your phone, you might need to try both PIE and opera to see which one will download the file(s) the proper way. both have pros and cons. you have to experiment with them to see which one works the best for whatever site your on, it's pretty much hit or miss.
oh and great introduction post.
sorry dash i couldn't resist.
