Has a friend ever pranked you by using their iPhone to spoof the Caller ID? It looks like you will have your shot at revenge soon enough. According to the creators of SpoofApp, a Windows Mobile variant of the popular app is coming soon. How soon? Well, theyve recently mentioned it on their Twitter and Facebook: “Windows Mobile coming soon! Sooner than you may expect! Keep an eye out on our Twitter and Facebook this week for the latest.â€
For those who dont know, SpoofApp is a controversial app among iPhone, Android and Blackberry users that allows you to spoof your Caller ID, change your voice in realtime (to male/female) and record calls. By spoof, we mean youre able to change what the person youre calling sees on the Caller ID display. Sounds like the perfect app to prank people with, huh? In fact, SpoofApp is considered to be so scandalous that it's actually banned from the iPhone App Store. Of course, users are still accessing it on jailbroken devices.
Check out the video above to see how it works and stay tuned to their Twitter & Facebook for the latest on the Windows Mobile release.
Warning: Spoof responsibly by reading the SpoofApp FAQ, for legal reasons.
