ok my htc touch 6900 broke finally, my question is what would u guys do if u was me?
i can upgrade to a tp for 50 bucks, (already talkd to verizon) but a friend of mine wants my 6900 what i am thinking is to go ahead and do the insurance 95 bucks then turn around and still upgrade to tp in a couple of days? possible or not, i think so just wanted to ask. i feel i am entitled to my insurance claim why waste it, and also i selling for 150 so at the same time my tp is paid for i pay 0 for a tp. sounds good to me

do you really want the cripppled verizon device? you have more program memory on your touch than you do that touch pro version through verizon..... and yes you can make a claim at any time as long as the phone has been on your account for at least 30 days

so the pro from verizon sucks, not worth getting? the pro 2 is about 2 b out for verizon i think. what is the down fall of the tp from verizon i have a 4g mem card does that help at all? camera is supposed to be better than 6900?

of course better camera look at the stats on the device here at Wckediden and google and it will tell you everything that you need......no it will not help program memory is ram dude, and jsut wait in my opinion, the card odnt mean shit sicne you cant run programs and user the card as ram.

yeah with that phone they left the main features that make it usable out, hell its like the mogul all over again, sucks for the verizon customers or the alltel customers that got screwed by the purchase verizon made.

I would say do the claim and get your new 6900 and then put the google os on it if you want something new to play around with should hold you over tell the tp2 comes along.

OR you could wait til Friday after I get my TP2's in. I'm going to sell one or both of my TP's. One is a refurb, I'm running the latest NRG Rom on, the other is stock. I might even flash it to the rom the buyer wants before I ship it.

And i did the insurance claim getting a diamond i hope but tryied to explain that i wanted an alltel diamond not a verizon so i guess i will w8 and see, it should be alltel one rite? no you would get a verizon one, i dont think alltel has one that i have seen or heard of....... but the alltel one isnt crippled touch pro 2 wise so what is the big deal, hell they even took the gps lock they had on there off finally :)

yes they can add the total to your bill if you would like..... are you gonna pay the full price for this? you should get some sort of discount in my opinion.

might be dating the rep that i met there :) she has a twin sister thast works there also and they were fighting over me (they knew the name D/\SH) so they hooked it up with my employee discount for monthly charges as well as gave me my employee discount on my phone :smile:
