The Galaxy S25 (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s25/), Galaxy S25+ (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s25-plus/), and Galaxy S25 Ultra (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s25-ultra/) recently passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US (https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/samsung-galaxy-s25-series-fcc-certification/), revealing the features they will offer on the connectivity front. Notably, the FCC listing reveals that all three Galaxy S25 models will support Wi-Fi 7 (Wi-Fi 802.11be (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi_7)).
All 2025 Galaxy flagships will likely support Wi-Fi 7
Wi-Fi 7 was introduced to Samsung's smartphone lineup with the Galaxy S24 Ultra at the beginning of the year, but the Korean giant stuck with Wi-Fi 6E on the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 FE because the Exynos 2400/2400e chip powering them doesn't support Wi-Fi 7 (https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-s24-plus-exynos-2400-no-wi-fi-7-support/).
The only other Galaxy devices with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity (https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-galaxy-smartphones-tablets-wi-fi-7-connectivity-support/) this year are the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 don't support Wi-Fi 7 despite featuring the same Snapdragon chip as the Galaxy S24 Ultra worldwide, for reasons Samsung hasn't revealed.
With the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ getting Wi-Fi 7, we assume it will be a standard feature on all flagship Galaxy smartphones in 2025. However, Ultra-wideband (UWB) support is limited to the S25+ and S25 Ultra according to the FCC documents, so there will still be some disparity in connectivity features.
