The rumors said Samsung will equip the entire Galaxy S25 lineup with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset worldwide, but we were taking those rumors with skepticism so we wouldn't get excited only to have our hopes crushed later.

But we can put all the negativity aside, because we may finally have received actual evidence to support those rumors: the international variant of the base Galaxy S25 model powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip has appeared (https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/9695154) on the Geekbench benchmark database (via Tarun Vats (https://x.com/tarunvats33/status/1874102250647544259?t=zEfPSZKNeqqPaVf1HAdhbQ&s=19)).

This is the first time the international Galaxy S25 variant is showing up on Geekbench; we had only seen the Korean and/or US models until today. That said, the international Galaxy S25+ model was spotted on Geekbench with the Exynos 2500 chip a few weeks back, so we wouldn't say anything is a 100% confirmed.

But the Galaxy S25 benchmark is much more recent, and with*less than a month to go for the Galaxy S25 lineup's official announcement, we can safely assume the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip will power all models everywhere in the world.
