Download and install carrier 10 in the downloads section of this site. If u dont have it already.

Read the code plug by clicking file and Read Phone. Save the codeplug

then post it on this site and one of the mods or i will mod your cp..

thanks for the help.... however, i'm having trouble opening the cp with my rss. It's the same program I read the 830 with... like R01.16.09.. but I get this everytime I try to open the cp to load it back on the 830... "This version of the application does not support this codeplug version. Use an earlier version of the application." I have an older version of RSS around here but it won't read my 830..

umm i duno u could try and find an older version and see if that works or maby try reading the fone then once you see that cp try to open the new and new then close the one u just read from your fone an select write to fone

what u have do do is sign up for nextel service buy there cheepest fone seeing as u wont be using it u will be using your boost fone and jus take the sim out of ur nextel fone and put it in ur boost fone then it will ask you for a special code and there you go i hope that clarifies it

I don't know how good are you people here I know this guy that unlock an i860 with d12. Told me it was hell to do but he dosen't even know how he got it done cause he did so much shit to it that at the end he didn't know what made it work. By the way this guy use to work for moto.

thanks for the cp but im having trouble i hook up the phone and im trying to write the cp and its telling me subscriber software not found check filename or software path use explorer and make sure its in the specified directory can you help me out maybe im doing it wrong. and once thank you very much :shrug:
Plug in your phone Open the codeplug in carrier and hit Ctrl+W (or go to file then write phone.) If i had to guess your using the write software and codeplug quick click icon on the top of carrier

hi weirdfate i got that now its telling me could not write back up file. file path is wrong. please set up back up file path in options dialog under tools menu. i sorry for the trouble and thanks. im sorry im taking long been at work just got back. :rastaman:


go tot tools-options- in the field labled backup file path copy and paste this C:\Program Files\Motorola\iDEN RSS\Carrier\BackupCodeplugs if it does not let you do it then you need to go to------ my computer-program files-motorola-iDEN RSS-carrier then look for a folder called BackupCodeplugs if its there then I dont know what is wrong if not right click on the screen go to new folder and then name the new folder BackupCodeplugs and hit enter. go tot tools-options- in the field labled backup file path copy and paste this C:\Program Files\Motorola\iDEN RSS\Carrier\BackupCodeplugs hit ok and try that now

search for (Reading CodePlugs for Dummies) on this site, on one of the first posts there is one posted by twigz there is a link to a place to get the program needed to copy your CP as well as a picture step by step on how to get the CP... unlocked it in the plug but there may be a special lock that requires a code and as of now there is no way to get past that sorry but try to load this to the phone and then try it

I unlocked it as far as I can and I enabled sms and american dialing. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you and let me know if there is a second lock once you put a Nextel Sim in it. Cheers!

Dude it has a lock from Boost, it was double locked, no one at this time can unlock it.

The lock that needs the special code is in the firmware...you can not access the firmware with the codeplug...there are few people that can unlock these...but the ones that can, need the phone in their hand to do it and charge for it

As far as the codeplug load it to your phone then put in your NEXTEL sim and see if it asks for a password, if it does it is double locked and can not be unlocked at this time. As far as the unlocking subscribe and it will become clear how to do some extra things.

If you would have read the posts above you would have seen that it was already unlocked by me for him/her and it was double locked and they wanted me to unlock the double lock. Please read before posting work that has already been completed. Cheers! :crackhead

Both the boost 860's and teh 830's are double locked as well as the new boost 730's and 285's. If u can find someoen who has teh unlocking proggy then a tattoo would be a nice phone to have.

Your cp is already unlocked so you more than likely have the double lock. I can not remove that at this time.
